This Central California Sierra Nevada community is just 55 miles from the Clovis-Fresno area. Take Highway 168 East from Clovis or Auberry Road East from Fresno and head up the mountain to Prather.  From Prather, take Hwy 168 to Shaver, stopping at the bottom of the “4-lanes” and make a left up the mountain, following the signs to “Shaver”.

Drive through the town of Shaver, where you will see the historic Trading Post restaurant, about another 3-miles will get you to the lake where you will find Shaver Lake Rentals on your right at the first day-use parking lot (right).
